Spooky Cemetery Stroll Oct 8 | Stories Beneath the Stones

Experience the magic of fall with an evening walk through Wichita’s historic Calvary Cemetery grounds. 🎃🏛👻 As part of 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️Walktober, these guided tours invite you to enjoy the crisp October air while exploring the fascinating history, artistry, and symbolism found among the headstones. It’s a perfect mix of seasonal spirit and community storytelling.

Location: 602 S. Rutan, Wichita, KS. south of Kellogg and east of Hillside. Parking is available along Rutan Street, on the western edge of the cemetery, and also along the internal roads located in the cemetery. There is a small parking area south of the mausoleum. Do not park on the grass, nor on any graves. Try to only park on one side of the cemetery road to ensure other vehicles can get through. There is only one entrance into the cemetery by car or bike, on Rutan. There are three walk-in entrances also, along Rutan Street.

We will meet and start the tour on the east side of the Mausoleum, on the sidewalk.
